Feet and Legs:

Green, ch. 13

Rnd 1: starting in 2nd ch. From hook, work 1 s.c. in each of the next 11 sts., 3 s.c. in last st. Place safety pin marker on center st. of last 3 s.c., work 1 s.c. in each of the 11 sts. On opposite side of chain (25 s.c. in rnd). Place row marker.

Rnds 2 and 3: work even (25 sts)

Rnd 4: Work 1 s.c. in each st., skip 1 st. before and after marked st. (23 s.c.)

Rnd 5: Same as rnd. 4 (21 s.c.)

Rnds 6, 7, 8, 9: Work even (21 s.c.)

Rnds 10 – 23: Work even in h.d.c.

Break yarn, fasten off

 

Arms:

Thumb: with green, ch. 2

Rnd 1: Work 4 s.c. in 2nd ch. From hook

Rnd 2: *Work 1 s.c. in first st., work 2 s.c. in next st., rep from *

Rnd 3: s.c. in each st., break yarn

Fasten off

 

Palm:

With white, ch. 4

Rnd 1: Starting in 2nd ch. from hook, work 1 s.c. in each of the next 2 sts., work 2 s.c. in next st., work 1 s.c. in first st. on opposite side of ch., work 2 s.c. in last st. (7 s.c.).

Rnd 2: Inc. 5 sts. in rnd (12 s.c.).

Rnds 3 – 4: work even

Rnd 5: Inc. 2 sts in rnd. (14 s.c.)

Rnd 6: Work even

Join thumb to palm as follows:

Rnd 7: 1 s.c. across thumb and plam (20 s.c.)

Rnd 8: Work even

Rnds 9 and 10: Dec 2 sts. in each rnd. (16 s.c.)

Break white yarn. Tie in green yarn.

Rnds 11 and 12: Work even (16 s.t.s.)

Rnds 13: Inc. 2 sts. In rnd (18 s.c.)

Body:

With green, ch. 4, join with a sl. st. to form a ring

Rnd 1: 8 s.c. into ring

Rnd 2: 2 s.c. I each st. (16 s.c.)

Rnd 3: *1 s.c. in first st., 2 s.c. in next st., repeat from * around (24 s.c.)

Rnd 4: Inc. 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 3rd st. (32 s.c.)

Rnd 5: Inc. 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 4th st. (40 sc)

Rnd 6: Inc. 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 5th st (48 sc)

Rnd 7: Inc. 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 6th st. (56 sc)

Rnd 8: Work even (56 s.c.)

Break green yarn. Tie in pink yarn, start pat.

Rnd 9: With pink, ch 3, pull up a loop in 2nd ch. from hook, pull a loop in 3rd ch. from hook, pull up a loop in each of the next 2 sts (5 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through all loops, ch 1 to form an eye, * pull up a loop in center of eye, pull up a loop in same st., pull up a loop in each of the next 2 sts. (5 loops on hook), yarn over hook, pull through all loops, ch 1 to form an eye. Rep from * around.

Rnd 10: With  green, join with a sl. st. to first st. of previous rnd. Work in s.c. inc. 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd- every 7th st. (64 s.c.)

Rnds 11, 13, 15: same as rnd. 9

Rnd 12: Same as rnd. 10, but inc. 10 sts. In rnd, (74 s.c.)

Rnd 14: Same as rnd 12 (84 s.c.)

Rnd 16: Same as rnd. 14, but inc. 12 sts in rnd (96 s.c.)

Rnd 17 – 26: Work even (no incs), following pat

Break yarn, fasten off

 

Head:

With white start and work same as first 8 rnds of body

Rnds 9, 10, 11, 12: Work even (56 sc)

Rnd 13: Inc 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 7th st (64 sc)

Rnd 14: Inc 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 8th st (72 sc)

Rnd 15: Work even (72 sc)

Rnd 16: Inc 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 9th st (80 sc)

Rnd: 17 and 18: Work even (80 s.c.)

Rnd 19: Inc. 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 10th st (88 sc)

Rnd 20 and 21: Work even (88 sc)

Rnd 22: Inc 8 sts evenly spaced in rnd – every 11th st (96 sc)

Rnds 23, 24, 25, 26: Work even (96 sc)

Rnd 27: (edging) *ch 3, work 3 dc in same st, skip 3 sts., 1 sc in next st, rep from * around

Break yarn, fasten off

 

Finishing:

Cut two round pieces of batting so that you can line inside of body and head pieces firmly. Stuff inside of batting with poly-fil stuffing and gather batting together at the top. Sew two halves together, leaving head edge extended. Use scraps of batting to stuff arms and legs. Attach legs and arms. Embroider eyes and nose.
