Here are some ideas to show your loved ones that you care:
~ Get reconnected with your kids by spending an afternoon (no cell phones, ipods or any other interruptions) going to a movie. Share popcorn, laughter and fun times.
~ If you can, drop in for some tea and sweets with your Mom and Dad. For a sentimental gift, frame a favorite photo from years past. If you really want to knock their socks off, how about transferring that favorite photo to fabric and making a wall hanging or a pillow! Which ever gift you choose, your visit will definitely brighten their day.
~ Valentine's Day is not only a time for family but for friends too! Plan a day for you and your girlfriends. Meet for lunch, get your nails done, or even shop till you drop. Time set aside with girlfriends is a must!
Don't forget to set aside some time to pamper yourself. After a long day of working on your latest quilting project, why not soak your aches and pains away in a soothing bubble bath. Play your favorite music, light some candles and add your favorite scented oils to the tub and leave your worries behind. An hour later, you will feel rejuvenated and ready to tackle new challenges!
Project of the Month: Heart Shape Envelope Pillow . This fun Valentine's Day project can be made in any fabric combination to stay out the whole year. This heart shape pillow is embellished with a fabric envelope. Perfect for hiding a special note to your loved one!
Quick Tip: When using Poly-fil to stuff a pillow, fluff it with your fingers to let air in. This will make your pillow smoother.

Now that you have that Bed and Breakfast feeling, why not pamper your sweetheart with breakfast in bed with this month's delicious recipe for Caramel French Toast . You start this recipe the night before so all you need to do on Valentine's Day morning is pop it in the oven. Yummy!
