They celebrate the courage of women with the inner strength to fight cancer, AIDS, poisoned environments, poisoned relationships. These are friendly shields offering psychological protection from my own and your personal boogeyman. Their positive energy is just what I need these days. That, and a little humor and grace.

Today, when I’m not working in my studio-often under the supervision of a grey tabby, I relax by working in the garden, cherish visits from my adult children, and enjoy cooking with my husband Robert. Oh yes, I also love gazing at the hazy blue mountains that surround my home.
